Mainly Models has developed these easy to assemble kits.  The basic structure is Blue Foam which gives a light airframe and when covered in brown paper becomes very strong. 

The kits comprise pre-cut foam parts (which are epoxied together), light ply formers, plywood bulkhead and balsa tail and fin and also the brown paper for covering (which is applied with thinned PVA wood glue).  Also supplied are the quick links, horns, spinner, snakes, engine mount, wingbolt, screws, moulded canopy and cowling.  Full assembly instructions are also included as well as a full size plan.

This kit is combat legal.

The Spitfire is available as a power, electric or PSS model.
