Hanger 9 Phoenix 7 ARF Pattern Ship

 £290.00  £266.40

Don Lowe's Phoenix-series of airplane designs dominated F.A.I aerobatics during the 60's and 70's.
Their point-and-shoot precision and slippery, swept-wing aerodynamics completely revolutionised the
precision aerobatic scene. And while all of them still enjoy a sizable fan base today, the original Phoenix 7
designed in 1965 is considered by many aficionados to be the best of the bunch.

Everyone can now experience the outstanding aerobatic performance of the Phoenix 7 in a fraction of the
time it would take to build a kit with this exceptional ARF from Hangar 9.

Built using the original Don Lowe plans and molds, it shares the exact same dimensions and construction
as a scratch-built Phoenix 7 kit right down to the beautifully painted fibreglass fuselage and fully-sheeted
wing and horizontal tail plane.

Hangar 9 has even gone so far as to deck it out with the same trim scheme the Phoenix 7 champion pilot
Mark Radcliff flew in the F3A World Championship competitions from 1975 - 1981.

Add to all this the fact it comes out of the box ready to accept Robart retracts and any lightweight .60-size
2-stroke engine. The Evolution® .60NX (small case) 2-stroke engine (EVOE0600) with a tuned pipe is a
particularly good combination and you've got a vintage aerobatic model with a superb heritage that is as
good today as it ever was!.
